Species – Preacherus Dadicus

What is a “Preacher Dad”? A common species of father, this particular type is designed to be curious. It is in his DNA to search out a matter of interest. When not invested in hunting and gathering to provide for the needs of his growing younglings, this unique vertebrate male will seek for answers to problems of parenting and current events with tenacious attention.

He is also designed to love his family unit and invest attention to their growth and protection. When confronted with a threat to his family this species of father will become agitated and begin spouting Bible verses and Constitutional amendments. When cornered he may even bare his 9mm handgun.

First discovered by Dr. Lucas Cloudjumper in 1980, this species enjoys current events, parenting adventures, and courting rituals with his mate which has been chosen for life. His habitat is the southern United States, but has been known to desire a regular migration to the mountains or a more tropical climate. He is currently unable to afford any regular migrations of any greater distance than grandma’s house.
