Jay Knolls is a Delaware native but has also lived in Maryland, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and Florida. He currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he serves as the lead pastor of Grace Baptist Church and the president of Wilmington Christian Academy. He is also the founder and president of Wondrous Word Ministries. His first book, When Flaming Arrows Fly, reached number one on the Amazon Hot New Releases chart.

Jay enjoys reading, writing, preaching, teaching, weight training, and exploring the mountains of North Carolina. He is an avid Carolina Panthers and Hurricanes fan, and roots for the Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies during baseball season. Les Misérables by Victor Hugo is Jay’s favorite novel. Before entering pastoral ministry in 2002, he spent more than a decade working in the healthcare industry as a respiratory therapist. With over twenty years of preaching and pastoral experience, he offers a seasoned perspective on Scripture and gospel ministry. Jay holds a BS from Salisbury University, and an MDiv, and DMin from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. Jay is available for podcasts, interviews, and speaking engagements upon request.
