Mercy and Truth…and Numbers
Here are the sermon notes from Sunday’s sermon. May God grow you through them.
Also, I’m thinking that someone should take some time and make a series of films about the stuff that happens in Numbers. I used to think it was a boring book, until I actually started to read it. So much happens in that book. Check it out. Really, the story of Israel’s journey to the Promised Land, and also their conquering of it, would make some fantastic drama, action, and spiritually edifying movies. The Bible does say that those things are given to us as examples. (1 Corinthians 10) Any way, just a thought I wish I had time to work on.
Hey Jarod!
Yeah, I remember you from the RTS. I’ve actually been checking out your blog every once in a while. Congrates on getting ingaged. That is really cool. I really enjoyed reading how God brought you and Anna together. It is always so cool to see how He works things out. I pray that God will bless you guys as you start your new life together in a few months. I hope all the wedding plans go well. Man, I know how those can be. Well, anyways, good to hear from you. God bless.

Hey there! You mean you didn’t know Karen’s name or who I was. Anyway, I’ve seen you comment on MARVELANNE’S site before, and I think I may have peeped in on you once or twice. Thought I’d leave a comment this time. Congrats, you two look wonderful together. Keep Christ first and you will always stay as happy as you look. I’m doing a post or 2 on predestination that I’d love to have comments on. I’ve only posted some of my thoughts for now. I have much more to say, but I have scripture that I want to add to back me up. My pastor has given me some great passages and other material to consider, so it may be a little bit before I get to the end. Hopefully soon I’ll be ready do really dive into this wonderful and amazing truth. May God bless you 2 in days to come.

I just read your previous post! Congratulations! Aaaand, I benefitted from hearing the testimony! May it encourage many others who read it! So many things the Lord gave both of you the grace to do right! It also encourages me that a guy doesn’t have to be “on-the-lookout”. THat always bothered me, but here’s a testimony where committing it all to the Lord can end up in Him putting it in one’s lap! I always liked to point to Adam and say, “God BROUGHT Eve to him.” Anyway, thanks so much for visiting my site, for now I have been able to hear the good news and be encouraged.
God bless both of you richly! From the pics, she seems just like what you described. God is so amazing AND creative!lol

Awww thanks! I try to be as “real” as possible. Umm that day at Chik fila…Anna and Lynn were meeting me to go to Lowes to get paint for my house and to help me work. I can’t remember if they wanted Chik fila..but, I think I was already there and they met me(don’t think they ate just sat there and waited for us to finish.) That’s what my memory is telling me. Oh, and the questions Anna and Lynn asked about ya!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!!
thank you for only pointing out the significant thing I did wrong lol I did notice that “spirit of joy” didn’t seem right, but I looked at several sites and they all said the same thing so I figgured it must be my [lack of] memory :-p Ah well
Many blessings ~
A.
