Endurance in Service

This is an article that Anna showed me which I thought was excellent. She pointed out that it is from a mother’s point of view, but is applicable to all Christians. It greatly encouraged me. Perhaps you will get a boost from it also. Are you a “heart Christian”, or an “adrenal Christian?”

If anyone sees this before tomorrow morning, please pray for me. I don’t feel very well prepared for tomorrow’s sermon (through my own laziness and procrastination) and I could use the prayer. Thanks!

that was a good post on the girl-talk blog. have you read any of CJ Mahaney’s books? (it’s his wife and daughters who made that blog) he is very gospel-driven and christ-center…i have grown a lot through his writings. especially his book “Humility: True Greatness”…good stuff…

I hope that everything went well today and that God’s annointing was upon you as you delivered your sermon today! God is so good to use us even when we feel so inadequate! When we are weak, He is strong!
I hope your family is having a Happy New Year! How wonderful to share it with your new baby boy!
God bless you all!

ps..I will look forward to reading the article!
thanks for your post on my michael moore blog.
I’ve never read anything about nor given any thought to universal healthcare prior to seeing his movie.
I’ll do some work to be more informed.
ALSO- cute kid! I looked at almost all of the pictures on your shared photo page
darling, I’m so grateful for your honesty…
Great article! Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you Jared! Good article – it is so true that we can become adrenaline addicts while endeavoring to serve the Lord. Keep up the good work bro – even if you feel a lack of preparation. God has used many a person that felt unprepared to bless others!
Oops, I meant *Jarod * sorry for the misspelling. Blessings on your 2008!
