Pictures I recently developed
Here are some shots from recent happenings in my life:
The Family Consultants at ATI are simply a very cool group of people. This puzzle was signed by all of the FCs that used to work under me. Each FC signed the states in their region. Some just signed their name, others gave a little note or a verse. It was very cool. (It is actually still missing the signed pieces from my former assistant, Katie. Let’s go Katie, get a move on.)
These are a couple pictures from Ryan and Theodosia’s wedding. The first one is of Ryan at his “bachelor party” (we had at Starbucks, btw) at which we gave him a pair of “pink pajamas.” [Inside joke.]
This man from our church….
…took me (and his son and another friend) here…
Okeefanokee Swamp in south GA.
We went fast (sometimes) on the boat. And I even got to drive some.
It was cool!
I also saw my share of Alligators. (Or as Sarah P. would say “I saw Kronk in the swamp.”)
Also, I went to Alabama on Thursday evening and stayed until Saturday afternoon. I went there with some friends from this area to visit a “singing school” down there. Someone from their family goes pretty much every year. It’s a mixture of “Sound Foundations”, summer camp, and a good old fashioned camp meeting. I enjoyed my time with them and the experience as a whole. Kind of made me remember the “family camp” I used to attend with my family and friends each summer.
OK, that’s it for today. I’m off to a cook out!
Hiya, Jared! You know….I DO have partners in random acts of silliness. Not only is there “Kronk” the alligator, but the Locally-World-Famous Melanie B. had a “Crank the Crawfish” in her pool!!! AND, she also had a snake in her pool that I affectionately dubbed “Slither Go-Lightly”.
You see….things are so much nicer when you name them – gators, crawfish, snakes, cars, computers, etc. I mean, how would YOU like to be known your WHOLE life as “That Human”.
Somehow, it just doesn’t sound as nice….You know?
Oh – another thing – here you HAVE a name that actually BELONGS to you – and then some goofy girl comes along and REFUSES to call you by that name. I mean “How Rude!!!!!”
But, OK I’ll fix it. No I’ll not call you George or Kronk or Slither, but I will concede to calling you Jar-OD instead of Jar-ED. Melanie just drew my attention to my error. Hee hee
LOL! I like the subtitle change! That’s a memory I won’t soon forget… “classic Jarod”
hey Odward, looks like you’ve had fun lately! i put a comment about my hair on my site! bye! = ) A
Great post…looks like fun. I myself was camping in P’cola Florida this weekend. It was great!!!!
Is that “PackinFoot” is in “packing my foot in my mouth???????? JarOD!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, dude, everytime I see those puzzle pieces I feel really bad. Man, I’ve even seen you a couple times since then. =P I’ll get em to you ASAP.
