019 – Make a Difference: Vote!
It might seem cliche, but one of the very best ways to make a difference is to vote! “Vote early; vote often!” is the old joke but as long as you don’t vote more than once in a single election…yeah, vote often!
Seriously, many people overlook this option or take it for granted, but it truly is a huge way to make a difference in the culture war. The following statistics may not be accurate, but the principle is sound:
If 30% of eligible voters actually vote, and the elections are often so close that who ever has 51-52% of the vote is the winner, it means that 15% of the eligible voters are deciding our leaders. That is a very small number and not hard to shift.
So go vote, and get your family and friends to vote also. (But make sure they vote for the right people, or you might just want to encourage them to stay home.)
KIDDING! But just try hard to persuade them. *wink*
