033 – The Thief on the Cross
The death “bed” conversion –
How can the faith of one criminal inspire us today? The thief on the Cross displays incredible faith in the midst of the last moments of his life. How did this happen? How does a convicted death row criminal come to believe so strongly in Christ that even watching the Messiah dying on the cross next to him does not shake his conviction in Jesus’ identity.
We do not know all the details, but the statement he makes upon the cross reveals his understanding of who Jesus really was, and his own need of a Savior in that moment. Listen and be blessed!
